During your stay here in Tuscany we invite you to visit some very interesting farms and cellars that produce local wine, oil and food in an organic and traditional way. An English (on request also German, French, Spanish or Russian) speaking assistant will lead you throughout the area and will share with you an unforgettable tasting of these delicacies. If you prefer not to drive your own car, we can also provide a car or minibus with personal driver.

Wine tasting
Tuscany is famous worldwide for its excellent production of wine thanks to its unique D.O.C., I.G.T. and D.O.C.G. wines. We organize wine tours with visits to cellars and tastings to experience the process of winemaking.
Prices and Details: Our wine tours include a tour leader speaking your language at your disposal for the whole tour, the visit to the cellars with the person in charge, a walk through the vineyards, the tasting of the wines produced there, with a bit of local bread, cheese and ham or bruschetta. There are several wine cellars to visit, from the small family run estate where the used methods are the very traditional ones, to the big wine producers who use very high technologically advanced machinery. The excellent wines produced in this area are Chianti and IGT wines. In September and October you will have the pleasure to assist to the harvest of the grapes!
Cheese and salami tasting
An original idea while staying in Tuscany is visiting a local farm specialized in the production of fully organic cheese, from fresh ricotta to ripened pecorino. The farm is located near the Etruscan town Volterra, on the top of a hill, surrounded by a unique landscape.

Olive oil tasting
A very important Tuscan produce is olive oil. Thanks to the patient care to the trees and the groves, the result of the olive pressing is an unrepeatable oil that you can taste during a visit to a mill.

The newest jewel among our local produce is chocolate. Tuscan chocolate makers got the best producers in Italy over the last years and right in the areas of our activity you can visit a family-run factory. Learn why the basin of the river Arno is now called the Chocolate Valley.

The factory is located very close to Pisa. Rates also include the tasting of the exquisite chocolate creations from the maitre chocolatier. Pastry tasting
Tuscany has a century old pastry tradition. From the traditional festivity cakes to the world known cantuccini biscuits served with Vinsanto liquor wine. Visit a traditional pastry shop and taste the hand made cakes in the setting of a medieval town.

The tasting of all the different products is accompanied with excellent original coffees and cappuccinos. There is also the possibility to organize a hands-on activity for the preparation of pizza and cakes.
